Brand image for a vegetarian restaurant of Central Asian cuisine

Our task was to develop a brand name, brand image and brand strategy for a family, vegetarian restaurant of Central Asian cuisine based in Berlin.

The logomark, representing a number five stylized into a hand’s palm, mimics the popular friendly “high five” gesture. A five is also integrated into the wordmark.

The name Besh (“Five” in most Turkic languages) refers to the five main components of a well-balanced diet (carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins & minerals, water). It also prompts the way the food is served at Besh with their bowls consisting of five main elements.
